Rebeca Yepez

Rebeca Yepez is a bilingual Venezuelan–American watercolor artist born in Madison, Wisconsin. A retired educator from the Madison Metropolitan School District, she has spent her life supporting creativity in both classroom and community settings. Watercolor has always been her healing space, becoming especially meaningful during her recovery from a significant accident. Her artwork features expressive color, flowers, little houses, beaches, windows, birds, frogs, and hills.

Artist Statement: My artwork celebrates the quiet beauty in everyday life. Through watercolor, I explore joyful motifs that invite viewers to pause and reconnect with moments of serenity.
